Innledning
Greetings, everyone. I go by the name Sarah Krogh Jørgensen. It's an immense honor for me to have been chosen to address you today, delving into the matter of the shooting incident involving Michael Brown and the subsequent surge of racial tensions in Ferguson, Missouri, following his tragic demise back in August 2014.

The crux of my discourse will be centered upon the root causes of this strife. Furthermore, I will explore potential measures that authorities could undertake to mitigate the occurrence of such racial discord.

Racism's pervasive presence traverses every facet of our society. It materializes in various forms, such as bias, subjugation, and xenophobia, all stemming from factors like religious affiliation, ethnic lineage, and even political leanings.

At its core, racism hinges on the notion of categorizing humans into distinct races, ascribed with particular traits, perpetuating the belief in the superiority of certain races over others. This inadvertently fosters a hierarchical outlook among these racial groups.

Justice for Michael Brown. Justice in the heart of Ferguson. And justice resonating throughout the myriad "Fergusons" that echo across our land.

We, as Americans, have tacitly permitted a landscape of inequality and injustice to manifest within our society.

Our call is to stand united, transcending the boundaries of race, religion, and heritage. It is our collective duty to champion equality for all, preempting the normalization of such grievous situations.

Let us now delve into the intricate dynamics between black and white, and explore the avenues authorities might traverse to preempt racial discord.

In the realm of 21st-century America, bearing the mantle of whiteness engenders an inherent privilege, a fact that many among us acknowledge.

Meanwhile, black men navigating American existence carry an undeniable understanding: at some juncture, they shall encounter a law enforcement officer solely on account of their skin tone.

This unfortunate reality is the driving force behind numerous black families conducting the "talk," a discourse on how to comport oneself when encountering the police.

A pivotal tool in this scenario is the ubiquitous cell phone, offering black Americans the means to document instances potentially fraught with racism, ultimately unveiling their innocence.
