There is a lot of racism in the US, and there has been racism there for many decades. There have been several severe cases of police brutality against African Americans.
The Black Lives Matter movement started in 2013 when George Zimmerman shot and killed Treyvon Martin.
Another case of police brutality that grabbed the world´s attention was George Floyd´s death. A policeman had his knee over George Floyds neck for almost 10 minutes, and sadly he died.

Slavery came to North America in 1619. 7-8 million slaves were brought to America with the Triangular trade, and 15% of them died on the way over.
In the 18th century, when Abraham Lincoln was elected president, he declared that there was going to be an end to the slavery. The south of USA was not happy with that decision, and that lead to the civil war.
“I have a dream that one day every valley shall be engulfed, every hill shall be exalted, and every mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plains and the crooked places will be mase straight and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.”
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had this speech at the Nobel peace prize on 28th of August 1963 where he required a stop to the racial discrimination in. the USA.
This speech is now the most famous speech of all time. “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but the content of their character.”
Everyone on earth is despised by some other group for reasons that have nothing to do with their character and are beyond their control.
Most of us are hated by a whole bunch of people for a variety of sometime contradictory reasons .
