In the novel, the author writes about these grotesque games that is taking place yearly in the nation of Panem. To win the game, you´ll have to be the last person standing alive.
There are 24 participants: two people from each of the twelve districts. The reasoning for this reality show to be different from other reality shows, is that the players are forced to play, and the audience is forced to watch.
The game is very violent and grotesque. The innocent people who get chosen to play the game are brutally murdered and there is only one survivor.

Personally, I don’t watch reality shows. I find them boring and not entertaining. I have tried watching different kinds of reality tv, but it has always ended in me changing the channel or falling asleep.
I find it difficult to spot a message or meaning behind them. The shows are created for easy entertainment, but in my opinion, it makes them boring and not interesting.
There is often no meaning behind the many episodes that is made, and the drama is often fake and made up. Sometimes the actors in reality shows get scrips they have to follow as well.
