Innledning
The movie “The boy who harnessed the wind” is about William Kamkwamba’s family who live in a poor village in Malawi in Africa.
William’s family could not afford schooling for William, so he had to teach himself illegal in the school library. In the movie it occurs a problem.
A terrible drought struck William’s village. They lost all the season’s crops and they had nothing to eat. Then William trying to solve and overcome the problem in the village.

In William’s village some big problems occurred. First the inhabitants in the village sold the threes that protected the village from flood. And some days after the flood came and destroyed all the farming fields.
And then a terrible drought stroke came and destroyed the crops. William is a smart boy and came up with an idea.
He maked a windmill to get energy from the wind to a water pump to pump up water from the well, and the water follows pipes to the farming fields.
After William laid the windmill, the village don’t have to worry about drought stroke again. The movie shows family, poverty, and political issues. The families in the movie cares and loving each other.
