Innledning
The boy who harnessed the wind was firstly a book. There are differences between these two, and both have disadvantages and advantages.

The book has the advantage of providing a much more detailed story and by reading the book it will give you more insight into the characters and depth of the plot. But then again people usually have a lot of things to do before they can read a book.

For many people reading books is a waste of time, since they do not have enough time to sit and concentrate on a book for days or even weeks, and since so many books including The boy who harnessed the wind are adapted into a film, it is easier to use an hour or two to watch the film, than read the book.

At the same time, as reading stimulates your imagination, watching a film allows you to see aspects of the book that were previously only in your imagination.

It transports you into the plot in a way that the book simply cannot. Music and graphic elements that enhances the film experience is an additional advantage.

However, when you watch a film instead of reading the book, someone else has already created the scenes for you, rather than you getting to use your imagination to create them yourself.

Utdrag
In this scene the camera switches between two angles, in front of William and his friends and in front of William`s father, the effect we gain from this is that it gives us the feeling of being right there in the middle of the argument.

The cast works well together and has wonderful chemistry, sadness, and excitement are all displayed by Trywell and William.

Trywell was also a convincing African parent. Make-up, costume design, and props, on the other hand, all meet the criteria. The worn-out collars of Trywell`s shirt is visible in a close-up image.

The general mood in this scene is the feeling of uncertainty, you do not know what is going to happen.

Will William get the bike or not? The emotions Ejiofor wants to convey is anger, and the feeling of loosing hope, and he is successful in accomplishing this.

After all the scene gets intense when Trywell picks up the stick and shows he is not afraid of them and refusing to give up the bike. Through this scene I got the feeling of William failing in bringing water to the village.

Altogether the different elements, like lighting, make-up, costume, and emotions contributes to make the scene great. The camera angles make the viewers feel like they are right there with them.
