Utdrag
Each child is unique in their own way, but Matilda possessed an extra something. Growing up in a family with a mother who loved bingo, a father who sold cars, and an older brother, Matilda did not receive much attention from her busy family.

However, at the age of four, she discovered her passion for reading through the magazines scattered around the house. Soon, she realized that she needed to go to the library to quench her thirst for knowledge.

With determination and courage beyond her years, five-year-old Matilda embarked on a 10-block journey to the public library all by herself.

There, she immersed herself in books and became a child brimming with the knowledge and wisdom of the great writers who came before her.

Despite having to repeatedly ask her parents, they finally allow her to attend school at the age of six. At school, she quickly progresses in her classes, largely due to the guidance of her wonderful teacher, Miss Honey.

Unfortunately, the school's headmaster, Miss Trunchbull, is not nearly as kind as Miss Honey. Her true character is revealed when she exercises her old sledge-throwing talents and expels a student from school grounds.

As the film progresses, it is revealed that Miss Honey and Miss Trunchbull are actually related, and there is an ongoing conflict between them. Eventually, the conflict is resolved, with good triumphing over evil once again.

Additionally, Matilda's father is held accountable for his illegal sales of car parts, and the family is forced to move.

However, Matilda gracefully resolves this problem by moving in with Miss Honey, and they live happily ever after.
