Innledning
We can hear English almost everywhere, for example in tv-series, music and films. Today English is recognised as an official language in 54 countries and 27 territories (Globally Speaking, English is Everywhere, by Kwintessential Translations).
English is called a “lingua franca”, which means that it is a common language for people who speaks another language as their first language. For example, if a Frenchman are speaking to an African, they would probably use English.

The internet is a big part of our lives, and it uses a lot of our time. Teenagers and young adults are probably the ones that spends the most time online.
They are also the ones who are going to “rule” the world in the upcoming years. Most of the websites on the internet are English, and the consequences of that is that English will affect the younger generation and the teenagers.
Some people think that this is a good thing, because if you speak English, you can communicate better if you are travelling or speaking to someone that not are speaking your language.
