Some people argue that English today has become too dominant and that small languages like Norwegian are under threat.

At the present time the English language is spoken in almost every country in the world and by that we have the ability to understand each other and connect with each other.
Most people who are located in countries wich have a smaller mother tounge for example Norwegian, maybe because some of the words are nearly the same.
At this point, the norwegian language is seen as it is dominated by the English language, which can cause misunderstanding between people.
The language is not dominated, in fact it is updated the way we express ourselves in this days now and what is relevant at this time.
The reason is that most of the words in Norwegian are not longer used, and people takes in some of the English words and make them a part of the speaking language.
