Innledning
In this task I will be looking further into the American dream. To begin with I will shortly mention what the American dream is, and the purpose of it.
Moving on I will be talking about the roots, how it all started and when. In the end I will be giving my personal opinions about this specific topic.
The American dream is a national ethos of the United States.
It is based on a belief that anyone, regardless of who they are, where they were born and their social class, as well as other possible circumstances – should be able to attain their own version of success, in a society where upward mobility is possible for everyone.

In order to achieve this, every individual must be putting in hard work and sometimes include risk-taking.
The purpose of these ideals is to include everyone, and not let their background completely determine their future.
