Innledning
Women both of earlier generations and of this generation are constantly involved in a cycle that has a large number of unequal platforms.

This has without a doubt been an on-going crisis for the women, often based on that many cultures promote strict male hierarchy and authority.

There are many cultures and geographical locations that lack allowance of women’s access to justice and rights.

FGM and birth is the number one cause of women’s death in Somalia, around 800 deaths accrue per 100,00 births.

Its devasting to know that young girls and woman from 0-18+ experience a form of torture based on their gender and roles.

Somalia is rising up from the ashes in a way, the culture has in some ways developed more respect for woman. But they still have a long way to go.

Until the women’s rights are equally as important as the men´s, FMG and justice should not stop being fought for.
