Innledning
The hate u give is a heart-breaking story about people treated unexpectable cause of the colour of their skin. Is the racism nowadays so bad?

Starr is the main character in this book, she witnesses to of her close friend die in front of her eye. In this essay I am going to write about three themes which I consider as the most important ones.

Secondly, I also consider love as a main theme in this book. The family is taking good care of each other however not everyone in this book have a good relationship. Starr has a boyfriend although they can argue sometimes.

The father to Starr and her two brothers is also good they have learned since day one how to act while a policeman stops them.

Love is something that everyone needs, and this book is good at that. Even thought the family goes through all that stuff they make it together which is very strong.

To continue, the last theme I consider as the third most important theme is communication.
