Innledning
There are many different definitions of terrorism. The US Department of Defense has a clear definition of terrorism.

They define terrorism as “the calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological.”

Poverty
One of the things that cause terrorism is poverty. First, people can react to poverty by blaming the government, and saying that they are not doing a good enough job.

Because of that, it could happen a terror attack on the government. Second, in the villages or places where there is poverty, there can be quarreling and fighting for food and water.

As we know terrorism can happen on many ways. So, the inhabitants of the villages can begin to kill, steal food, and burn down houses to survive.

Third, in my opinion, people who come from places where it is poverty may find it easier to join terrorist groups.

I mean that because in terrorist groups they get food, water, and maybe a bigger chance to live longer than they would without joining.

Discrimination
Discrimination is a big problem in the world that can cause terror. First, discrimination can occur in many ways. Color discrimination, discrimination by religion, ethnicity, etc.

For example, if somebody shoot at a mosque, then muslim’s probably would feel discriminated against and get revenge as a terror.

Second, some dark colored people in the USA means that they are being discriminated against by the police, because they are being used violence against, without having done anything. Some groups get violent and can commit terrorism.

Third, terrorism can also occur because of ethnicity. If some people live in a country but has a different ethnicity.

Then because of mentally ill people do not want them in the country they they can decide to break into their houses, throw stones or shoot the windows and that can be considered as terrorism.
