Innledning
This documentary is about the aborigines in Australia. European politicians were afraid that the aborigin population would be bigger than the European population.
The Europeans made a system or a law, where aborigine kids were taken away from their aborigine family and culture and placed in christian european families or government run sanctuary, mission schools and farms.
Utdrag
Living at a missionary school was tough. If you don't do what you are told, you will get punished.
Working at the farms was psychologically hard, the kids worked from early morning to late afternoon.
Some even worked their whole lives without getting paid. White people believed that the aborigines did not do anything for the Australian economy, but without them working day and night, the agriculture would not have been so good in Australia.
Cleonie got taken away from her mother and placed at an orphanage.Cleonie was isolated and lonely. Her property and things got taken away.
Kids at the orphanage were dressed up in pretty clothes, and then families could pick and choose how they wanted.
