Innledning
Hello everyone! I'm Sofie Pedersen, a 16-year-old from the quaint country of Denmark. Today, I'd love to give you a glimpse into the life of a Danish high school student.
I'll delve into the subjects we study in Denmark and highlight some of the major differences between our educational system and the American one.
Should anything be unclear, please note that I'll be available for an additional 15 minutes post-presentation. Feel free to shoot any questions my way, and I'll do my best to address them.

Let's dive into my personal experience transitioning from elementary to high school. For me, the shift has been quite pleasant and smooth.
In elementary school, you're surrounded by familiar faces, both peers and teachers, and there's little room for academic choices; you basically study what's handed down to you, regardless of interest.
However, upon entering high school, the scenario changed. I met a diverse group of students and had more freedom in selecting subjects, thanks to the specific school I opted for.
When it comes to homework, a common perception is that high school loads you up more than primary school. Surprisingly, I've found the workload fairly consistent, without feeling overwhelmed or rushed.
One noteworthy aspect of my high school is its focus on fostering social connections among students. At the start of the academic year, we engaged in various activities like speed dating to bond with our classmates.
