This is a quote about how the colonisers came and stole the Native Americans land, and ruined their homes without caring about the importance of this land.

The Native Americans discovered America more than 10 000 years ago, way before Christopher Columbus and his crew sailed there. They came over “land bridge” from Asia, to what is now Alaska.
Although some of them still live in reservations, most Native Americans today, live in cities and urban areas.
Native Americans face some challenges today, such as being a minority in their own country, loss of language and identity.
But in recent years, they have become more aware of their rights and many discover a renewed interest and pride in their culture.
The indigenous people of New Zealand are the Maoris. They arrived from islands in the Pacific Ocean in canoes around 1350 AD.
The land had a spiritual importance for them, so when the Europeans arrived and stole it, they had an armed conflict.
The Maoris have their own language, and its even an official language in New Zealand. The Maoris express their culture through art.
Their Haka dance is a ceremonial dance, which they perform to represent a display of a tribe’s pride, strength, and unity.
The Maoris face many challenges today, some of them being loss of language and identity.
Aborigines arrived in Australia 40 000 years before the Europeans did. They were nomads and moved around the country. Today most of them live in cities and urban areas.
