April introduced herself as April Gross, as her ticket listed her as such and she had yet to assume her new identity as Valerie Weber. She was not a fan of her new name.
Upon arriving in Grove City, April made two new friends, Larry and Kim. She and Larry started playing tennis together every morning, but soon she realized that he wanted something more than friendship.
