My recollection of the knowledge gained on November third is somewhat hazy, but one concept that stands out in my mind is the American Dream and the profound speech that encapsulates what it means to be an American.

The birth of the United States of America on July 4th, 1776, was brought about by a group of immigrants who ventured to this vast land with the vision of establishing a nation that championed freedom, marked by its division into individual states.

Their aspiration was to forge a land where diverse religious beliefs and perspectives would be embraced.

Despite the inherent diversity among people and the inherent resistance to change, they clung steadfastly to the hope that this sprawling nation-to-be, the USA, would flourish. Immigration waves occurred numerous times after the nation's founding, with individuals from around the globe flocking to experience their own slice of the American Dream and embrace the long-anticipated freedom they had heard so much about.

President Biden skillfully employs pathos to instill hope in his audience. For instance, when he stated, "The refusal of Democrats and Republicans to cooperate with one another is not due to some mysterious force beyond our control.

It's a decision. It's a choice we make," he not only fosters optimism but also underscores the power of the people to shape their country's destiny.

His subsequent statement, "There has never been anything we haven't been able to do when we've done it together," reinforces the idea that the strength of America lies in its united and independent citizens.

Continuing on the theme of American identity, President Biden eloquently asserts, "I've always believed we can define America in one word: possibilities."

This sentiment resonates deeply with the American Dream, which envisions a land of boundless freedom and opportunities. The prospect of such a transformation lies squarely in the hands of the people, an enduring truth that will shape the nation's destiny.
