1. As Roger sat in the Huddle House restaurant, contemplating his breakfast or lunch options, a woman named Barbara approached him, inquiring if he was Roger.
Initially, he puzzled over the identity of this pleasant-looking woman and how he might know her. However, when she mentioned a guy named Tony, Roger drew a blank, responding with, "No, I don't know any Tony."
Barbara then pointed in his direction, and it suddenly clicked – it was Tony, the same guy who had tormented him throughout high school, mocking his appearance and the fact that he was an orphan. Tony, the bully.
Roger's initial anger subsided when he took a closer look at Tony, now skinny and in a wheelchair. He found himself waving back at Tony, reflecting on how much Tony had changed over the years.
