Innledning
The movie Romeo+Juliet was directed by Baz Luhram and was first shown in 1996. The movie is a modernized version of William Shakesphere´s tragedy play Romeo and Juliet, that premiered in 1597.

Though later it was revealed to Romeo that Juliet was a Capulet, which puts them both in a difficult position considering their family history.
Romeo and Juliet got separated and lost each other during the party, but Romeo managed to sneak back in to try to declare his love for Juliet, this scene is known as the balcony scene.
They decide that no matter where they come from and what name they bear it would not let it keep them apart.
Afterwards they decide that they are going to get married in secret the following day.
After the wedding, Romeo goes to the beach to meet hi friend s, only to see Tybolt, who is Juliet`s cousin coming to fight over their appearance at the costume ball the night before.
Tybalt wants to fight Romeo, but since Romeo now consider him as family Romeo refuses, but he doesn’t reveal why.
Romeos friend Mercutio on the other hand got engaged in the fight and managed to get himself killed by Tybalt.
The death of his friend sends Romeo into a blind rage, which leads to Romeo killing Tybalt as revenge. Romeo gets banished from the city Verona as an action of the murder.
