Political Carrier
Once he had processed the shock of his brother's passing, he took up a role as a journalist before his political aspirations began to flourish.

He embarked on a campaign to become a congress member, earning the admiration and trust of more and more individuals, ultimately securing victory over the Republican representative.

At the young age of 29, in January of 1947, he assumed his position as a member of Congress. As time went on, his ambitions grew even greater - he set his sights on becoming a Senator.

In a sweeping victory, he garnered over 70,000 votes, ultimately taking his place in the American Senate on January 3rd, 1953.

It was on an ordinary day when Jack was paid a visit by a journalist by the name of Jacqueline. As fate would have it, they quickly fell in love with one another and before long, they became engaged.

On the 12th of September, they tied the knot. However, around this time, Jack's duties in the Senate had begun to take a toll on his physical health, causing him tremendous pain in his back.

After consulting with doctors, he was advised to undergo an operation in order to prevent being permanently disabled.

Unfortunately, the surgery left him in agony for weeks and a subsequent operation was necessary. Fortunately, the second operation was successful, though it was a close call as either of the surgeries could have taken Jack's life.

The President
Following a lengthy eight-month recovery period, Jack made a triumphant return to the Senate. With his back in significantly better shape, he resolved to pursue re-election.

On November 27th, 1957, Jack's family was blessed with a new addition - a daughter named Caroline. As the time for his second election drew near, Jack's popularity had grown significantly, with him securing over 870,000 votes.

With his sights firmly set on becoming the Democratic nominee for the upcoming presidential election, he set his sights on campaigning to win over the party's support.
