On March 29th, 2019, the prime minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern held a speech about the tragic act of terrorism that occurred in Christchurch.

She endeavors to make the nation realize that they are one, including all races and ethnicities, and that human hatred and extremism must come to an end.

“As-salaam Alaikum. Peace be upon you”, she continuously says throughout her speech, the most common greeting amongst Muslims, wishing peace to the receiver.
