My hero

Innledning
Selecting a single hero has been a challenge for me, given the abundance of inspirational people around the globe.

Whether it's their conduct, demeanor, or character, individuals from all walks of life motivate me. While my mother, father, and best friend are all heroes to me, each one has influenced me differently.

When my father was a young man, he witnessed a group of immigrants harassing and flirting with a girl on the street.

The girl was clearly uncomfortable, but instead of turning a blind eye like most people would, my father bravely approached the group and yelled at them.

He even went above and beyond by calling a cab and ensuring the girl got home safely. However, this act of kindness did not go unnoticed, and the group of immigrants became angry and began following him.

Despite being terrified, my father showed no fear and stood his ground until the group eventually backed off. On another occasion, my father risked his life to save a woman from an abusive man in Ålesund.

The man was losing his temper and had almost killed the woman when my father stepped in and physically restrained him until the police arrived.

My father has always been a selfless person who puts others first, and I am incredibly proud to call him my father. My cousin Ingrid is my best friend in the entire world, despite living far away from me.

We have known each other for as long as I can remember, and our personalities and styles have become so similar that we even think alike at times. Despite the distance between us, our friendship remains unbreakable.
