My name is Shyla Davis, and I'm here on behalf of Rowen University to shed light on the challenges the United States faces in this regard.
In this modern world, we find ourselves grappling with the concept of an American utopia. Is it a land where children can freely carry guns for their protection?
Or does it become an American nightmare, a reflection of a society plagued by gun violence? Are we heading towards such a future?

On one side of the debate, we have those who advocate for stricter gun control measures, driven by concerns for safety and equality.
The spate of mass shootings, particularly in schools, has deeply affected the younger generation, leaving them traumatized.
Despite considerable public support, these proposals often struggle to gain traction, revealing a power imbalance in the political landscape.
Conversely, there are staunch gun rights advocates who skillfully harness the narrative of American values to protect their interests. Their strong backing from politicians reflects their sway over the gun control discourse.
