Innledning
"Dystopia" is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as an imagined place or state where everything is unpleasant or undesirable, usually in a futuristic or present-day setting with societal control in negative ways.
Wikipedia characterizes dystopia as a speculative future society marked by negative and anti-utopian elements, encompassing environmental, political, and social issues.
The word "dystopia" originates from the Greek "dys," meaning bad or difficult, and "topia," denoting a place or landscape. But how does a society transform into a dystopia?
On the other hand, a "utopia" represents an ideal or perfect society in the present or future, though deemed unattainable or non-existent. It envisions a vastly improved world surpassing our current reality.
However, despite its revolutionary nature, "utopia" is often considered a "no place" due to many of its features being unfeasible.
